Investigations have opened into a fatal plane crash at Duxford IWM.
Police were called to Duxford Imperial War Museum (IWM) at around 2pm on Tuesday 26 March 2024.
A light aircraft had been involved in a crash and fire and ambulance crews were also called to attend.
The pilot, a man in his 50s from Bedfordshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Staff at Duxford IWM say "our thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time."
The airfield will remain closed to the public until Friday 29 March 2024 for investigation work.
