A young child has been seriously injured in a hit and run in Thetford.
It happened on the A134 Brandon Road at around 6.50pm on Monday 5 August 2024, when a white vehicle collided with the child and failed to stop at the scene.
At the time of the collision, the white vehicle was reported to be travelling towards the crossroads with the Chase pub, having come from the direction of the A11.
The child, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital and later transferred to Addenbrookes in Cambridge, where they remain in a serious but stable condition.
