Parents will get a lower number of vouchers after government cuts.
Historically, parents on low incomes with children aged 2 to 19 were given supermarket vouchers of up to £180 across the school holidays.
Cambridgeshire County Council has said it is committed to continuing the scheme, but it is not able to pay the same amount as when the initiative was paid for by the government.
Parents are now expected to receive £135, a reduction of £45.
The authority has pledged £3-million to provide the vouchers for the estimated 21,000 eligible children.
