Two women injured in March dog attack

Two women have sustained serious injuries following a dog attack in March.

The attack by a mixed breed dog happened at about 10.45am on Sunday 3 November 2024 in the area of Papworth Street in March.

Two women were taken to Peterborough City Hospital by ambulance with serious but not life-threatening bite injuries, while the dog was seized by police and later put down.

The breed of the dog is not clear, but it is believed to be mixed and not covered by dangerous dog legislation.
