The A428 was shut for several hours for recovery work between Eltisley and Cambourne.
It's understood Cambridgeshire Police were called just before 6pm on Tuesday 23rd January 2024.
Officers had received reports of a collision involving three cars.
Two of the drivers, both men, were taken to Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge with seriously but not life-threatening injuries.
The A428 reopened on Wednesday 24 January 2024.
Cambridgeshire Police is urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to report it.
