Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward
The 17-year-old boy was riding a blue Yamaha along Barton High Street, at about 11am 10 January 2024 when he collided with a lamppost and a fence.
No other vehicles were involved and the teenager, from Comberton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
He remains in hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone with information or has dashcam footage is being urged to report it to Cambridgeshire Police through the force website using reference 35/1729/24 or by calling 101.
