At 4.25pm on Tuesday (18) one crew from Dogsthorpe and one crew from Stanground were called to a road traffic collision on Westgate in Peterborough.
Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving two vehicles. Using specialist cutting equipment they released one casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.
The crews returned to their stations by 5.40pm.
