A new bar offering ‘premium craft beer’ is due to open in Cambridge city centre.
The owners of the Cambridge Taproom said they plan to offer people a "comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming space" where they can put a "focus on local product and talent".
The bar is due to open on King Street in one of the recently rebuilt retail spaces backing onto Christ’s College, which was totally gutted during major renovations.
Some concerns had been raised around extra noise disturbing locals, but the owners of the new bar said they did not feel their business would add to the noise in the area.
