At about 1.40am on Sunday 21 January 2024, emergency services were called to the A1123 Houghton Road between Houghton and St Ives.
A silver Toyota Corolla was involved in a collision with a red Vauxhall Astra and a white Renault Trafic van.
A man in his 50s who was driving the Toyota was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Renault, a man in his 20s, was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon, with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is being urged to contact Cambridgeshire Police.
