EACH to bring open air cinema experience to Huntingdon

The classic, multiple award-winning Dirty Dancing will be the feature film when East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) hosts an open air cinema experience at Huntingdon Racecourse.

The event, on Saturday, 14 October, promises to be full of fun, with a live band to entertain until the film begins. In addition there will be a barbecue, or guests are welcome to take a picnic.

Polly West, EACH Community Fundraiser, said: “We’re really excited to be screening such a popular film as Dirty Dancing and have a fantastic night full of music, laughter and entertainment in store, so please do join us!

“All money raised will help us continue providing care for children with life-threatening conditions across the region and support for their families.”

Dirty Dancing is a film that really needs no introduction, with the 1987 romantic dance drama as popular now as it was when released 30 years ago.

Gates will open at 6.30pm. The film, one hour and 40 minutes, will start at sundown around 8pm. There will be no reserved seating so guests are advised to take blankets and collapsible chairs for full comfort.

The venue has free parking and disabled access. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Tickets are £12. To book and for more information about both the event and the charity’s care services, visit www.each.org.uk.
