A dental practice in Littleport wants to expand to deal with demand for services.
Littleport Dental Surgery, on Granby Street, has asked for permission to expand into the neighbouring laundrette and optometrist.
The dental practice said there is currently a high demand for dentists and that its plans to expand could allow extra dentists to be hired, as well as hygienists, receptionists, and admin staff.
Earlier this year, parliament said "NHS dentistry is in crisis" with figures suggest 80 per cent of practices are currently unable to take on new patients.
