Cambridge man admits killing his wife - Update

The sentencing of Muhammad Malik on Friday (May 19) has been postponed until psychological assessments have been completed.

Malik, 36, pleaded guilty to manslaughter last month at Cambridge Crown Court.

He contacted police on November 22 last year saying he had attacked his wife. Police and paramedics attended the property in Perne Road and the woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, but sadly died of her injuries.

Malik was due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court. No new date has been set for the sentencing.
