The event is hosted by Wilburton Parish Council and managed by SA Events UK.

With gates opening at 5pm and the fireworks show igniting the sky at 7:45pm, this is an event you won't want to miss. Proudly partnered by Star Radio, the night promises to be a brilliant blend of excitement and community spirit.

What's happening on the night

In addition to a fabulous firework display, you'll be able to enjoy all the thrills of the funfair and sample great food and drink. The entire evening will be set to music, all hosted by Star Drivetime's Josh Lovatt.

Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your evening:

Location: The event takes place at Wilburton Recreation Ground, covering the cricket and football fields at Wilburton Green on Station Road, Wilburton, CB6 3RP.

Getting there: All gates will open for easy access. Parking is available in the adjacent field, with designated disabled parking for those who need it. To ease village congestion, consider using the manned taxi rank or carpooling with friends. Fen Cabs will be on hand for the event and can be reached at 01353 66 99 66 or via their website.

Entry: Upon arrival, you'll find two queues to streamline entry. On the left side, for those with advance tickets or SumUp codes. On the right side, for on-the-night entry, accepting both cash and card payments. Be sure to have your tickets, phone code, or correct cash or card ready to ensure a smooth entry process.

Accessibility: A safe, designated viewing area and a disabled toilet are available. If you need assistance, simply ask one of their friendly security staff.

Site Amenities: The site will be well-lit, but it’s wise to bring a torch for extra visibility. Toilets are centrally located next to the cricket square, and bins are provided to help keep the area tidy.

Safety First: Security personnel will be patrolling the grounds. If you require assistance or misplace something, head to the Lost & Found and First Aid point at the main gate.

To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please note that the following items are prohibited:

• Sparklers and fireworks
• Alcohol and drugs
• Weapons
• Laser pens and large flags
• Air horns
• Hi-vis clothing with text (e.g., security, event staff)
• Dogs
• Halloween costumes and fancy dress
